Adjustable Beds – Who can answer questions about my adjustable bed?

We’ll require the serial number, date of purchase, and owner’s manual to expedite the handling of your specific issue. If you can have that information available when you make the call, it will help speed up the process.

There are specific protocols for how to clean a mattress, and they depend on your mattress model. Refer to the warranty card you acquired when you made the purchase for tips on how to clean mattress stains and how to keep your mattress fresh and comfortable. The warranty is different for each mattress, so refer to those guidelines for the best advice on how to keep your mattress clean.

Since each mattress is designed with different coil gauges, it will depend on the type of mattress you select. Please ask your Beautyrest® store representative about the coil gauges in each mattress for more helpful insights.

Part of the benefit of visiting your local mattress store is that you can test the comfort, the support, and the durability of the best mattresses on the retail floor. This will help you select a mattress that aligns with your personal comfort preferences.

Simply lie down on each mattress that catches your eye to help you decide which model best suits your needs. You can ask your local mattress expert important questions as you test the feel of each mattress, including questions about coil unit construction, foam and upholstery layers, and even the fabric of mattress covers. Ultimately, you want to select the best quality mattress for sleep. As a comparison guide, you can test and ask questions about different brand classes (i.e., Beautyrest®, Beautyrest® Harmony Lux etc.), coil unit construction, pocket coil technology, coil counts (800 coils, etc.), and comfort levels (firm, plush, pillow top, comfort top, etc.) to determine the best quality mattress for your needs.

NOTE: Model names are not standardized in the mattress industry. Therefore, model names may vary from retailer to retailer. As you determine how to choose a mattress that supports your needs, you can learn what is in each mattress so you can do a more diligent comparison of different types of mattresses.

Some mattresses do require the occasional flip to the other side while others do not. To answer whether you do need to flip your mattress, you can refer to your warranty card that will provide mattress care instructions for your specific model. If your Beautyrest® mattress is a NO FLIP® Design (cover fabric appears on one side of the mattress with grey or black fabric on the other side), you do not need to worry about flipping or rotating your mattress.

There’s a simple way to measure your mattress for the appropriate sized sheets. You’ll need the gusset (or depth) measurement, which requires the following:

  • Two rulers
  • Yardstick (or a broom handle)

Begin by placing half the first ruler between the mattress and the box spring so you can see the distinction. Place the yardstick (or broom handle) parallel to the ruler on top of the mattress. Now, take your other ruler and measure the space between the yardstick and ruler to get the gusset measurement.

When you purchase your fitted sheets, be sure that the gusset measurement on the sheets is equal to or greater than your mattress. This will also help you learn how to fold bed sheets and fit them onto your selected mattress.

Our limited warranty explains that we cannot guarantee the fabric of your received piece will identically match the fabric from an in-store display mattress. Replacement of one piece does not automatically result in the replacement of another piece. Beautyrest® reserves the right to substitute comparable material and models.

All our luxury mattress brands come with warranties that include options for handling mismatched products. The only exceptions to the rule are if you purchased an “as-is” mattress model or a floor model/sample from your local mattress store.

If you already have a memory foam mattress on which you experience healthy sleep habits, and you’re interested in replacing it with an identical model, we recommend that you visit your local mattress store and speak with an agent about your options. If they don’t have the same make and model as your existing mattress at home, we suggest that you test out new products to determine which models feel the most similar in terms of comfort and support. Please keep in mind that a new product may feel different than the Beautyrest® product you currently own due to changes in design and construction.

Keep in mind that each mattress retailer sells versions of products with different features all across the country. However, there may be an opportunity to acquire the identical mattress model number from another province in your home community. Please contact our customer service team at beautyrestcanada@sertasimmons.com with the model number of the mattress you’re interested in buying. You can identify the model number by finding a series of numbers in the format MXXXXX.XX.XXXX on the selected mattress.

Your Beautyrest® mattress warranty protects you against manufacturing defects. You can refer to your limited warranty card on beautyrest.ca for specific details about your coverage information, or you can contactbeautyrestcanada@sertasimmons.com.

If you’ve moved to another city and can no longer access the mattress store where you made your purchase, please contact beautyrestcanada@sertasimmons.com for assistance. We’ll need to validate your warranty claim to assist you, so please have the following information available:

  • Proof of purchase/receipt
  • Name of product from satin trade label
  • Law tag information
  • The model number (MXXXXX.XX.XXXX format)
  • Size of mattress
  • Warranty code

While the terms and conditions of your limited warranty do include clauses that cover costs for mattress replacements or repairs, refunds are not included in your mattress warranty.
